The Siskiyou Woodcraft Guild has developed over the years into a network of small, personal shops capable of cabinets, furniture, carvings, frames, turnings, musical instruments, even residential and architectural work. These professionals have dedicated themselves to providing reasonable alternatives to mass-produced and often bland, industrially manufactured wood wares.

Increased communications and assistance between shops encourages progressively higher quality, refinements of techniques, and design options. In equipping and maintaining their shops, a major investment of time and finances is made to serve customers. It is their collective experience and depth of knowledge that offers the community a special opportunity to have modern or traditional, small or large, hand-worked or power-tooled wood products made to customer requirements.
